I’m a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Advertising. I enjoy designing, storytelling and taking on opportunities that allow me to be creative. I'm in the design field to see ideas grow into something that can be put into the world.
In 2022, I published a book called Equal by Design. Starting as a thesis project, the book celebrates African American and Black designers throughout history as well as those who are currently working in the field. My goal is to not only change perceptions, but also reveal how Black designers have made important contributions to the industry. In reading Equal by Design, I hope students, teachers, and parents can use this book as a resource. It’s meant to spark curiosity among Black youth and inspire future designers to pursue their passion.
