I was able to participate in a joint project between the St. Louis Zoo, Tohono Chul in Tucson, Arizona, and the National Museums of Kenya in Nairobi. The project was developed to help educate people on the vital role of pollinators in agriculture and the environment. The other goal was to design or enhance a new or existing garden that incorporates pollinators by building and installing a sculpture. The sculpture would serve as a nesting site for solitary bees.
